The Carrera Tee is named after Javiera Carrera, who was a Chilean Heroin that lead the independence of Chile from Spain with his brother, Jose Miguel Carrera. She sew and embroidered the first chilean flag. Among her great stories, is that she hid and fed the soldiers in a pretty known winery while they were waiting to attack. (One clue, it sponsor Arsenal soccer team)
Also, her brother Jose Miguel is the great-grandfather of my grandmother, so we are honoring both, for being our family and for leading the country to our independence. Maybe I inherit her passion for sewing? Well, I don't sew flags but I can make you this amazing t-shirt.
